The buttons on the left, i.e. 'demos', 'windows nt', etc. search the CD-ROM's database for files relating to that topic. The results are displayed in the 'File Names' list in the center of the screen.
Several of the buttons have subcategories which will be displayed to the right of the main topic buttons. Selecting a subcategory will likewise perform a search.
Additionally, the Search button in the bottom right area of the screen allows for text based searches on words found in the description or file name.
After a search has been conducted by either method select a file by clicking on its name in the 'file names' list. You can then click on the Install button to install the file to your hard drive. ZIP files will be automatically unzipped as part of the installation process. EXE files are simply installed. They can be launched seperately by the user at a later time. TXT files can either be installed via the Install button or opened in Notepad via the Read button.
Exit the program by clicking on the close box in the upper left hand corner of the window.
This help field can be opened and closed by clicking on the Help button.
